The S2S-OMS® transportation module is customized to each Ship2Save client so that a flexible application is in place to meet all the needs of the client’s customers. It enables facilitated management and tracking capabilities for sea freight and ground transportation containers throughout various on-ship and off-ship locations. The system networks with a variety of passive and active RFID tags, translating location data and status information (movement, temperature, release of chemical agents, etc.) to perform one or more of the following operations:
 Hazardous materials management with MSDS table and handling instructions;
Special cargo handling management;
Vessel draft management;
Refer container management;
Slot management;
Vessel bay management;
Container tracking in Port bin zone;
Container free time and demurrage management;
Empty container management.
The result is an unmatched granular visibility of each and every case, item, or pallet tagged within the containment unit. Conditions like movement, temperature, humidity, and tampering are detected and instantly reported to complete the accessible real-time information. The location of each containment unit is revealed via interactive mapping software that allows users to point and click on their containment units to receive a real-time itinerary and current status of all items.
